PVMCC News

June 19, 2009 By eastwickpress

On Friday, June 19, Music & Art Café will host DJ Daniel Schnoop. The night will feature open karaoke and the crowning of the first PVMCC American Idol! Admission is $5 per person, $8 per couple or $10 per family.
Stop in for coffee and bagels or join our aerobic walkers at PVMCC’s Veteran’s Café. The summer hours of the Veteran’s Hall Cafe have begun with the café being open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 am. The hall will still be open for walking most weekdays. If there are cars there then someone has opened up for walking.
Yoga is also on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 to 10:15 am.  No prior registration is needed, just bring your mat.  Sessions are $10.

A full breakfast was served for the loyal Veterans Hall patrons and staff on Monday. Pearl Koch, 84, took over the pancakes after her daughter ruined half of them. The café will be open Tuesday and Thursday through the summer with the goodies that the mysterious muffin man brings so faithfully. Photo by Mary Lou Walters.
