The Hoosick Falls Junior/Senior High School Class Of 2009 Top Ten

Principal Steve Leunig is pleased to announce Hoosick Falls Junior/Senior High School’s top ten seniors of the Class of 2009.  Ranked first in the class with a GPA of 98.97 is class Valedictorian Samantha Merwin.  Samantha will be attending Boston College.  Ranked second in the class with a GPA of 97.22 is class Salutatorian Ethan Myers.  Ethan will be attending Northwestern University. Ranked third in the class with a GPA of 97.05 is Sarah McMahon. Sarah will be attending Cornell University.  Ranked fourth in the class with a GPA of 96.97 is Benjamin Taylor.  Ben will be attending St. Olaf College.  Ranked fifth in the class with a GPA of 95.46 is Kevin Woods.  Kevin will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  Ranked sixth in the class with a GPA of 95.21 is Emily Ciuk.  Emily will be attending SUNY Binghamton.  Ranked  seventh in the class with a GPA of 94.81 is Marissa Wong.  Marissa will be attending Syracuse University.  Ranked eighth in the class with a GPA of 94.52 is Laura Stevenson.  Laura will be attending Roger Williams University. Ranked ninth in the class with a GPA of 93.99 is Danielle Pelletier.  Danielle will be attending SUNY Plattsburgh.  Ranked tenth in the class with a GPA of 93.88 is Sara Smith. Sara will be attending Roberts Wesleyan  College. The entire staff at Hoosick Falls Central School congratulates these students, and we wish them well as they begin their college experiences.
