Clare M. Baldwin

Hoosick Falls – Clare M. Baldwin, 91, died Wednesday, June 25, 2009, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center where she had resided since 2000. She was the wife of the late Albert Baldwin.
Born on March 10, 1918, in Hoosick Falls, NY, Clare was the daughter of the late Wilbert H. and Clare (Murphy) Allard. She attended schools in Hoosick Falls. Clare worked at various stores in Hoosick Falls including the Undergarment and the Golden Crust Bakery. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls.
Survivors include her brother, Wilbert J. Allard of Hoosick Falls, her sisters, Rita Martin of Oregon and Helen Walsh of Rhode Island, her niece, Bonnie Vitro of Hoosick Falls, and her nephews, Gary Allard of Albany, NY, and Kevin Allard of Hoosick Falls.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 30, at 9 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 am from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow the Mass. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 7 pm.
