GLSP Hosting Blues Concert

July 31, 2009 By eastwickpress

Grafton Lakes State Park will hold its final Music in the Park Summer Concert on Saturday, August 8.  The Park invites patrons to enjoy the day at the beach and an afternoon of blues performed by the Joe Adee Band from 2- to 4 pm.
Sit back and enjoy or, better yet, get up and dance to the blues-rockin’ sounds of The Joe Adee Band. Adee has been playing music for 25 years, including Country, Southern Rock, Blues and a little Bluegrass. Most recently, Joe plays with The North Creek Band. He has toured from Albany to New York City and all the way down to Nashville, TN, but this is his first time playing at Grafton Lakes State Park.
The concert will be performed in a tent on the green above Long Pond beach. A parking fee of $7 grants park access for the day, including the concert. The summer concert series is co-sponsored by the Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park. For more information, please contact the Park Office at 279-1155.
