Grafton Library Book Discussion Group

The book discussion group of the Grafton Community Library will be discussing The Senator’s Wife by Sue Miller at their meeting on Wednesday, July  29, at 1 pm.  The book explores the private lives of women with mesmerizing portraits of two marriages exposed in all their shame and imperfection and their obdurate, unyielding love. The novel is a powerful story of two unconventional women who unexpectedly change each other’s lives.  The  New York Times Book Review said Ms. Miller is the absolute mistress of her material. Her narrative technique, squarely in a realist mode, is dazzling.
