The Grafton Community Library is pleased to offer library patrons the opportunity to visit The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA, at no charge. The Library’s museum pass allows free one day admission for two adults. Children are always admitted free of charge.
The pass includes admission to the permanent collection as well as two special exhibitions – both exclusive to the Clark. The first, Dove/O’Keeffe: Circles of Influence, presents a fresh perspective on iconic American artist Georgia O’Keeffe, examining a previously unexplored aspect of her artistic development – her longtime respect for the abstract painter Arthur Dove and the manner in which his work helped shape the development of her art.
In the galleries at Stone Hill Center view Through the Seasons: Japanese Art in Nature. This visually stunning exhibition presents traditional Japanese screens and scrolls juxtaposed with contemporary Japanese ceramics in a celebration of nature’s influence on art. Visit www.clarkart.edu or call 413-458-2303 for further information on exhibitions and events at the Clark.
