Star Party At Cherry Plain State Park

The Albany Area Amateur Astronomers will hold a public Star Watch on Saturday, July 25, in the parking lot of the Cherry Plain State Park, beginning at 9 pm, weather permitting.  The Park is located off Rte. 22 just south of Berlin.  Come see spectacular craters and mountains on the crescent Moon.  After the Moon sets, the giant planet Jupiter will be displaying the fascinating motions of its four large Galilean moons.  You may also catch a glimpse of our most distant large planet, Neptune, close to Jupiter.
