Two Hoosick Residents Arrested

Tara L. Morelli, 29, and Gregory S. Frank, 39, of Telford Rd. in Hoosick were arrested on June 23 on Burglary in the Second Degree charges, a class C felony. They are currently in Rensselaer County Jail. According to NYS Police Troop G Public Information Officer Maureen Tuffey the charges stem from a December 19, 2008, burglary of an unoccupied home on Traver Road in the Town of Wilton. “When the home owner returned at the end of her day, she found her residence broken

into and several items missing, including an assortment of jewelry, silver flatware and serving pieces and a LCD Sharp Television worth about $800.”
In January 2009, State Police in Brunswick arrested three people for Rensselaer County burglaries. In February 2009 they developed leads regarding the same three defendants doing burglaries in Saratoga County and recovered more property. State Police in Wilton had their homeowner view the recovered property in March 2009 and some of it was identified as hers. Morelli and Frank were arrested for the Wilton burglary.
