Walter “Scott” Davendonis

Hoosick Falls – Walter “Scott” Davendonis, 61, passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. He was born in Troy, NY, the son of Walter J. Davendonis and the   late   Margaret “Peg” Davendonis. He retired from the New York State Office of General Services.
Scott is survived by his wife, Nancy Gardner Davendonis, whom he married on October 11, 1980, his brothers, Thomas and wife Kim Davendonis of Hoosick Falls, and Paul and his wife Edith Davendonis of Wappingers Falls, NY, his sisters, Christina and her husband Walter Passineau of Troy, NY, Margaret and her husband Wayne Dutotte of Andover. NH, Betsy and her husband Leo LaRoche and Janet Deluca, all of Hoosick Falls. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services were Sunday, July 26, at 1 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home in Colonie, NY. A calling hour preceded the service on Sunday from 12 to 1 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for the Disabled, 314 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY, 12208, or the Epilepsy Foundation of NENY, 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY, 12203, in memory of W. Scott Davendonis. To leave a special message for the family online, visit NewcomerAlbany.com.
