A Genealogy Workshop In Stephentown

A genealogy workshop entitled Beginning Your Research at the National Archives will be offered at the Stephentown Library.  Jean Nudd of National Archives Northeast Region in Pittsfield, MA, will lead this basic introduction to the records useful to genealogists available at the National Archives facility in Pittsfield. This lecture, on Sunday, August 16, at 2 pm, will give an overview of census, military and immigration records with an emphasis on using census records for genealogy research.  Advance registration is suggested.
