Hoosick Youth Center Survivor Camp

August 21, 2009 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
This week at the Hoosick Youth Center is Survivor Camp. There are no alliances, just lots of fun and competitions. The two teams, Blue Cobra and Yellow Secret Survivors, chose their team names, made up their own chants and put together their own tents, complete with tree branches for camouflage. Later they were to make some of their own food, plus spy telescopes and then tea idols. On Tuesday, on a very hot summer afternoon, they were having a great time outside and inside their tents.
