Recycling Program for Kids – On Tuesday, August 25, at 12:15 pm, Joanna Redden of Eastern Rensselaer County Solid Waste Management Authority will present a fun and informative program on the many ways we can help the environment as we recycle. This program is suitable for school age children. Reservations are encouraged.
Basket Weaving Workshop – We invite you to join local artisan Isabel Krebs on Thursday, August 27, at 7 pm for a hands on demonstration of the art of basket weaving. Participants will create a woven basket that they can take home with them. Basket weaving is the world’s oldest known craft, and handmade baskets can enhance your home or make wonderful gifts. This program is geared towards children 10 and up and adults. Class size will be limited, so we ask that you register in advance. All supplies will be provided.
