Taste Of Hoosick Will Benefit HACA Food Pantry

Sample some of the area’s finest cuisine on Sunday, September 20, from 4 to 7 pm at the Hoosick Falls Country Club for the benefit of the food pantry run by the Hoosick Falls Church Association.
The Honorary Committee for the event is Dianne Hosterman, Susan Bouplon, Steve Marking, Matt Monahan, Village of Hoosick Falls Mayor, and Marilyn Douglas, Town of Hoosick Supervisor.
The food pantry served 3,428 individuals in 2008, which represented a 19 percent increase over 2007. The

number of families seeking service in 2008 totaled 267, including 347 children, 504 adults and 37 elderly.
Area restaurants are invited to attend the event and showcase their specialty.
