Petersburgh – William Mason Peckham of Taylorsville, NC, died Thursday, August 6, 2009, at his residence. Born May 8, 1945, in North Petersburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Harold L. Peckham and Florence Mason Peckham.
Mr. Peckham is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wanda J. Peckham, his son, Eric M. Peckham, his daughter, Tamara A. Putnam, his grandchildren, Alona Putnam, Jakob Peckham and Emilee Peckham, his sisters, Mary Gorton, Linda Okerman, Evelyn Iskowitz and Susan Begin, and a brother, Harold L. Peckham, Jr.
A memorial service was held at 4 pm on Monday, August 10, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Taylorsville with Mr. Louis Fittipaldi officiating. The family received friends on Sunday, August 9, at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory, NC.
