Catherine M. Wilson

Hoosick Falls – Catherine M. “Kay” Wilson, 75, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center, where she had resided since January. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Wilson of Hoosick Falls, NY. They formerly resided in Walloomsac, NY.
Born on May 1, 1934, in North Hoosick, NY, Kay was the daughter of the late Arthur S. and Elizabeth (Fitzpatrick) Harrington Sr. She was educated at St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls. Kay was a bus driver for many years at the Hoosick Falls Central School. She was a member of the North Hoosick Fire Department Auxiliary and the St. Stanislaw Society.
Survivors, other than her husband Arthur, include three sons, Stephen A. Wilson Sr. of North Hoosick, Richard A. Wilson of Glens Falls, NY, and Scott E. Wilson and his significant other Maureen Hulihan of Shaftsbury, VT, and her sister, Harriett Miclette of Johnsonville, NY. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Stephanie M. Becker and husband Jeremy of Jeffersonville, VT, Stephen A. Wilson Jr. of North Petersburgh, NY, Sheena A. Wilson of Clifton Park, NY, and Brian R. Wilson of North Hoosick, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends, James Toohey and Sharon and Fred Schmigel. Kay is pre-deceased by a sister, Mary E. Flynn, and three brothers, Arthur S. Harrington Jr., William Harrington and James Harrington.
Funeral services are Thursday, September 10, at 8 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 pm until the start of the service. Burial is Friday, September 11, at 10 am at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Hoosick Falls Health Center, Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad or the North Hoosick Fire Department through the funeral home.
