Fall Festival

Schodack Island State Park announces its forth annual Fall Festival, held on Saturday, October 3, from 11 am to 4 pm. This year’s festival will feature complimentary apple cider and donuts, wagon rides, a scarecrow building contest, local craftspeople, games and giveaways for children and families, children’s crafts, exciting exhibits from local educators and community groups, a Lost in the Woods survival skills workshop, fire prevention class, a birding hike, demonstration on Native American Technology, demonstration of local wildlife by a prominent local wildlife rehabilitator and more.
