HAPPY Seeks Youth Recognition Nominees

The Hoosick Area Partnership for Parents & Youth (HAPPY) annually honors local young people who have made a difference through service to the community. A recognition ceremony will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, September 26, in the Wood Memorial Park gazebo. This event is part of the First Hoosick Pumpkinpalooza, a pride and tradition initiative organized by HAPPY.
Nominations for this recognition are being sought. If you know a young person (anyone 19 or younger) who has made a contribution to the Hoosick area by volunteering, organizing a fund raising event and/or being a positive influence on other young people, please submit his or her name to HAPPY, c/o Joyce Davis, P.O. Box 492, Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090. You can also send nominations to jnadine@roadrunner.com. Please include a brief description of the contribution your nominee has made. All nominees must live in the Hoosick Falls Central School District.
The deadline to nominate a young person is September 21. For additional information, call Joyce Davis at 518-686-0221.
