Hoosick Eateries Show Overwhelming Support For “A Taste Of Hoosick”

Staying connected to the community and recognizing that going hungry is a reality for many local families, Hoosick area eateries are quickly signing up to showcase their favorite dishes at “A Taste of Hoosick” to benefit the Food Pantry of the Hoosick Area Church Association. The event will be held on Sunday, September 20, from 4 to 7 pm at the Hoosick Falls Country Club.
Restaurants participating are Bianca’s, Big Moose Deli & Country Store, Carmody’s West, Eagle Bridge Inn, Falls Diner, Guiseppe’s, Half-Time Sports Bar & Grill, Ice Kreme Kafe, Man of Kent Tavern and Cafe, Schoony’s, The Old Firehouse Tavern, Pizza Bella and Potter’s Tavern. Also participating are Helvi’s Catering, Susan Landry and Lindsey Gardner’s localfoodpros.
Committee organizers Susan Bouplon, Town Supervisor Marilyn Douglas, Dianne Hosterman, and Village Mayor Matt Monahan invite everyone to come and enjoy this celebration of food and to partner with the community in assisting those who are less fortunate. Tickets for the event are $15 and are being sold at Thorpe’s, Upsy Daisy, Town of Hoosick Offices or from committee organizers.
