New Knitters Group Formed In Grafton

September 4, 2009 By eastwickpress

Do you love to knit? Thinking about learning to knit?  Here is an opportunity for you. “Sit ‘n Knit” is a group of knitters that meets the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 am at the Everett Wagar Senior Center. The free drop-in program for adults welcomes beginners, advanced and all in between knitters to join them for a relaxed and informal meeting. It provides an opportunity to knit your own project at your own pace and to visit with and meet with other local knitters. In addition, Pat, from the Yarn Depot, drops by on a unscheduled basis,  bringing with her yarn to purchase and her expertise to help and answer knitting questions.  Members  share patterns, knowledge and ideas.
The schedule for fall is Sept. 19, Oct. 3 and 17, Nov. 7 and 21 and Dec. 5 and 19.
