Donald Myers

Hoosick Falls – Donald Myers, 65, died Friday, September 25, 2009, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, Bennington. He resided at the Crescent Manor Nursing Home in Bennington with his wife Patricia (Yerke) Myers who survives. They formerly resided in Hoosick Falls, NY.
Born on January 5, 1944, in Hoosick Falls, Donald was the son of the late David and Mary Myers. He attended school in Hoosick Falls and worked in area factories in his earlier years.
Survivors other than his wife Patricia include a daughter, Brenda Burdick of Cambridge, NY, sons, Donald Myers Jr. and Daniel Myers both of Bennington and William Myers of Pownal, VT, a brother, Richard Myers of Pittsfield, MA, sisters Betty Baker of Troy, NY, Marie Young of Hoosick Falls and Julia Kelley of Greenwich, NY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Donald is pre-deceased by three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were Monday at 2 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial followed the service at the Berlin Community Cemetery, Berlin, NY. There were no calling hours.
