Mark J. Silloway

Pittsfield – Mark J. Silloway, 53, of Allengate Avenue, Pittsfield, MA, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 19, 2009.  Born June 20, 1956, in Springfield, MA, Mark was the son of Barbara Weake and the late Fred G. Silloway, who passed away in September, 2009.
Mark attended East Longmeadow Schools, graduated from Devereux in Pennsylvania and served in the Air National Guard.  Mark was currently employed by Vacation Village as a Condo Sales Representative.  Mark was an avid camper and fisherman. He loved to fish in the local streams and lakes with his father, Fred, and often made trips to Lake Bomoseen, VT.
Mark was a great father, friend and co-worker and will be missed by many,  most especially by his two closest friends, Scott McDougal and Roy McDade.  Mark is survived by his daughter, Chelsey M. Silloway of West Sand Lake, NY,  his son, Andrew M. Silloway of Pittsfield, his mother, Barbara Weake and her husband John of Largo, FL, a brother, David Silloway and his wife Norma of Ware, MA, two sisters, Beth Wade of East Longmeadow, MA, and Lynne Silloway of Castleton, VT, and three stepsisters, Linda Brown of Montgomery, AL, Lisa Hansford of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Wendy Joseph of Millis, MA.
A Memorial Service will be held on November 8 at 12:30 pm at the Stephentown Federated Church on Garfield Road in Stephentown, NY.
