Deborah J. Pettibone

November 6, 2009 By eastwickpress

Johnsonville – Deborah Jean Pettibone, 50, died unexpectedly at home on October 27, 2009.  Born in Troy, NY, and growing up in Cohoes, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patricia Ladue, who passed away this past January.  Deborah had resided in Johnsonville, NY, for the last six years and before that had lived in Berlin, NY, for 15 years.
She had worked at Seagroatts Floral Company in Berlin for many years.  She loved working with the flowers and the people that made the experience enjoyable for her.  She was very big into her gardening and being outdoors and was a big animal lover.  She also loved it when her two grandchildren, Stanley and Sierra, came over and stayed the night.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley J. Pettibone; they had been married for 29 years.  She is also survived by her son, Stanley J. and wife Sarah Pettibone II, her daughter, Melissa Pettibone and Gerald, and her beautiful grandchildren, Stanley Pettibone III and Sierra Pettibone. Deborah is also survived by her two sisters, Amy and Darlene, and by her brother, Mark, and by her best friend, Annie and  husband Keith Coleman, from whom she had been inseparable for more than 30 years.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
All friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration in her honor at the Johnsonville Fire House, 5 River Road, on November 8 at noon. A graveside service will be held 3 pm at the Woodside Cemetery on Buskirk-West Hoosick Road.
The family asks that anyone wishing to make a contribution towards a beautiful headstone for Deborah send that donation to Stan Pettibone, P.O. Box 174, Berlin, NY, 12022.  To leave on-line condolences, please visit www.Chasefuneralhome.com.
