Ronald W. Eddy

Hoosick – Ronald W. Eddy, 61, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. He resided in Harken Hollow in Hoosick, NY, with his wife Mary Jane Ellis (Mert).
Ron was born June 26,1948, in Cambridge, NY, the son of the late Wells and Wilma (Herrington) Eddy. He was a graduate of Hoosick Falls High School. He worked at various plants throughout Hoosick Falls, NY, most recently Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corporation. He was a avid reader, NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to tag sales and collecting antiques.
Survivors, other than his wife Mary Jane, include a daughter, Carrie and husband Scott Goldstein of Hoosick Falls, two sisters, Susan Eddy and Carol Rayner, both of West Hoosick, NY, a brother, Walter Eddy of Melrose, NY, three grandchildren, Anthony, Max and Brigitte of Hoosick Falls, and two nieces, Lindsay and Alex of West Hoosick, as well as a special friend, Donnie Hale of West Hoosick.
The funeral service was Saturday, November 14, at 11 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial followed the service at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Friday from 3 to 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice through the funeral home.
