St. Stanislaw Society Gives To Karen McGovern Fund

On Monday, October 26, St. Stanislaw Society Treasurer Bob Melesky presented Pat Hayes and Delight Cullen with a check for $500 for the Karen McGovern Fund.
The St. Stanislaw Society annually holds fund raisers to provide support to local organizations. Melesky said the economy has affected the Society and they have been unable to give as much as they have in the past though during the last quarter they have contributed to the Hoosick Rescue Squad, the Petersburgh Fire Dept. scholarship fund, HFCS Wrestling, HFCS Boys Modified Soccer, C.R. Wood Cancer Research Center, Girl Scout Troop 1415, the Ed Carknard Trust, HFCS Ken Baker scholarship fund, Hoosick Falls Police Dept. Explorers, ADAPT, HFCS Booster Club, Cystic Fibrosis, Hoosier Hopefuls, Disabled American Veterans and more.
