On October 23, 2009, Robert P. Blessin III of Cherry Plain, NY, graduated from the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island, SC, where he earned Expert Marksmanship status. Private Blessin is currently completing his training at the School of Infantry in Camp Lejune, NC. Upon graduation he will return home, attend college and fulfill his military commitment as a USMC Reservist.
