Stephentown – James Ralph Blocher, 82, of O’Dell Road in Stephentown, NY, died on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. Born October 9, 1927, in New York City, Jim was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army. He had worked as a counselor for many years.
Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Friday, December 4, at noon in the Gerald B.H. Solomon – Saratoga National Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home of Stephentown.
