Military Flags Hang In PVMCC

December 11, 2009 By eastwickpress

by Mary Lou Walters
Patrons of the Veterans Hall Café donated money for the purchase of flags representing each branch of the military. These are hanging along the back of the northern wall. New American and MIA flags were hung on the southern wall. The flags are a wonderful addition to the building that was built to honor our Veterans.
There also is a display case for pictures of military men and women who entered the service from Petersburgh. There are many more names on the outside wall then there are pictures inside so more pictures are needed. It is nice to have a picture to go with the name, and it will proudly hang in the hall as long as the building stands. Pictures can be dropped off during the Veterans Hall Café weekdays from 7 to 9 am, or arrangements or arrangements can be made by contacting Rodger LeMere at 658-3867.
