Once A Marine Always A Marine!

December 23, 2009 By eastwickpress

Rolland Hewitt (l) and Mason Hubbard celebrated the Marine Corps birthday on November 10 at the Veterans Hall Cafe. They both showed up wearing their USMC hats and had a cake served up by the volunteers. The USMC always makes a big deal of its birthday, usually with light duty. Mason said that when he was in the South Pacific they were told they could have all the beer they could drink. They all got one can that day. Photo by Carol Hayes.
