Tony Hammersmith of Cherry Plain received the Rennselaer County Association of Town Superintendents of Highways Scholarship at the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation fall scholarship award ceremony on December 11. Tony was presented the award by officers of the Association, Norm Stahlman, Board of Directors, Scott Gallerie, Secretary and Doug Eddy, Treasurer. Tony has maintained a 4.0 grade level all through college and has continually been on the President’s List. He has already received his Construction Technology Certificate, is working toward his Associate’s degree in the same field and will go on for his Bachelor’s degree.
