New Lebanon Library January Events

The New Lebanon Library is pleased to announce the following January programs:
• Tales for Tots Story Hour – Wednesdays, January 13, 20 and 27, at 10:45 am with crafts, songs and movement activities.
• Hug-A-Bye Babies – Thursdays, January 14, 21, 28, at 11 am with age appropriate stories, songs and movement activities for the Library’s youngest patrons and their parents.
• Coffeehouse Night – Friday, January 8, at 6 pm featuring the music of singer/songwriter Linda Worster; light refreshments will be served.
• Poetry Group – Monday, January 11,at 6 pm; poets are invited to come and share their work.
• Family Movie Night – Friday, January 15, at 6:30 pm; free showing of a current film for the whole family. Call for title. Popcorn provided.
• Paws-to-Read – Saturday, January 23, at 9 am; a program that provides an opportunity for children to improve their literacy skills with the assistance of registered canine reading companions in a fun and relaxed environment. Please call 518-794-8844 to register.
• Community Film Night – Thursday, January 28, at 7 pm; free screening of Food Inc. with discussion afterward facilitated by Ellen Poggi, coordinator of the Hand Hollow CSA.
• Wow Wii! Games Night for Teens and Tweens – Tuesday, January 26, at 6 pm; bring your games and your appetite (pizza provided!); the Library will provide a Nintendo Wii, Rock Band 2, Beatles Rock Band, Wii Sports, Dirt 2 and DDR.
• Preschool Pajama Party – Friday, January 29, at 7 pm featuring a movie oriented to preschoolers; older children also welcome. Wear your PJs, bring your blankie; snacks provided.

Everyone is welcome to these events. For further information on any of these programs, please call the New Lebanon Library 518-794-8844. The Library is located at 550 State Route 20, ¼ mile north of the yellow blinking light at the intersection of Routes 20/22.
