Russian Folk Art At The Berlin Library

On January 23 the Berlin Library is sponsoring a free Russian cultural program at 11 am at the Library on Main St. in Berlin.
The program is designed for children up to 12 years old and includes a one hour lecture and demonstration featuring museum quality objects of Russian folk art:
• lacquer miniature painting on papier-mâché,
• wooden “Matryoshka” nesting dolls,
• metal painted trays,
• ceramics and decorative arts and
• traditional costumes.
Parents and grandparents are urged to attend and bring along their cameras. Pre-registration is advised. Call 658-2231 to register.
