Upcoming Grafton Lakes State Park Events

Ice Skating is available on Long Pond from 10 am to 4 pm weather and ice conditions permitting. There is no fee to enjoy pond skating, but participants must bring their own ice skates.
Snowshoe rentals are available from the Park Office from 8 am to 3:30 pm daily. The cost is $5 per person for 4 hours, $10 a day, $25 for 6 persons or more.
Saturday, January 9
Winter Bird Watching at 11 am.  Bob Davis, an avid bird lover, will teach participants about the common but delightful winter birds found at bird feeders this time of year.  Kids can make their      own pine cone  birdfeeder to take home. The cost is $2 per person, $5 per family. The group meets at the Park Office; registration required; call 279-1155.
Friday, January 15
Snowshoe Outing at Grafton Lakes State Park at 2 pm.  Learn the origins and basic practice of snowshoeing and  then join us on a one mile loop looking for animal tracks and sign in the snow.  The charge of $3 per person includes snowshoe rental. The group  meets at the Park Office; registration required; call 279-1155.
