LaFlamme and Josh Conn were part of the team but did not bowl. Mitchell Andrew had the third high triple of the tournament with a 671 and Joe Wolfrum had the third high single of the tournament with a 266.
“This was a great way to end the season even though we didn’t come in first. The team showed a lot of patience as we didn’t get off to a good start but kept their heads in the game and came back in the last two games to give Mechanicville a run for first place. They never gave up and showed that we are one of the better teams in Section II bowling,” said Coach Lang.
Adirondack League Title
On Thursday, February 4, the Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Fort Edward by the total pins score of 3,883 to 3,278 for the overall Adirondack League bowling title for the 2009-2010 school year. Top bowlers for Fort Edward were Caleb Nicholson with a 235-618 and Demetrick Rawlins with a 211-572. Hoosick Falls top bowlers were Mitchell Andrew 279-730, Joe Wolfrum 265-670, Chris Pelletier 236-651, Jake Colliano 238-641, Cody LaFlamme 223-613 and Bryan Callahan 211-578. “This was a great win for our team against a good young Fort Edward team which will be a team to contend with for the next three years. We picked a good time to have our highest match total of the season, 3,883. It was a great team effort by all the members of the team. Each varsity bowler had both a great single game and a very good triple in achieving that great match total,” said Coach Lang.
