Ladies Night Out At The Youth Center

February 19, 2010 By eastwickpress

The Hoosick Area Youth Center & Community Coalition’s first “Ladies Night Out” event is shaping up to be a fun evening of shopping and pampering for area women. The event is set for Friday, February 26, from 6 to 10 pm at the Youth Center, 115 Church Street in Hoosick Falls.
Many vendors have signed up to offer products from Silpada, Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Wine Shop at Home, Java Fit Coffee, Tastefully Simple and more. Local merchants, such as Upsy Daisy Florist, will be participating and bringing a sampling of their wares such as hand-crafted candies, soaps and baked goods. Several product demonstrations have been scheduled as well.
Artistic Hair Designs & Nirvana Day Spa is bringing a team of experts to provide pampering and beauty services. Waxing, hairstyling, manicures, scalp massages and more are being offered. A private room is available for those who want to receive full massages or reiki massage treatments from a trained reiki master.
There is no admission fee for this event, but a fee or donation will be requested for the spa services. Throughout the night, light refreshments as well as food and beverage product samples will be offered. There will be raffles for door prizes donated by the vendors and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds of the event benefit the Hoosick Area Youth Center & Community Coalition and its programs for youth and families.
Come beat the winter blues and enjoy this special event for adult ladies in the area. For additional information, call 518-686-9050 or visit www.hoosickyouth.org. Vendors and service providers are still welcome to sign up to participate. Visit the website for forms or call the Youth Center.
