Marjorie J. DeLuca

Hoosick Falls – Marjorie J. Cranston Bradley DeLuca, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bennington, VT, on January 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Bertha Cranston. Raised and educated in Bennington, she was a graduate of Bennington High School and in her early years worked as a waitress in Bennington before relocating to Hoosick Falls, NY, in the 1950s with her late husband of 25 years, William Bradley, where they raised their family. She enjoyed a career in food service at the Hoosick Falls Central High School where she served as Head Cook. Her talent for cooking was enjoyed by many, and people looked forward to being at events where Marge’s dishes were to be served. She was a wonderful loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and will be truly missed
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Jerry DeLuca, her devoted children, Stephen and wife Mary Bradley of Hoosick Falls, Michael and wife Darlene Bradley of Bennington, Donald and wife Brenda DeLuca of Guilderland, NY, and Diane and husband Bill Miller of Austin, TX, cherished grandchildren, Kim, Stephany, William, Nicole, Michael, Emily, DJ, Justin, Sarah, Brian, Jamie and Kristin, and six treasured great-grandchildren. In addition to her first husband, Marge is pre-deceased by her brother, Donald Cranston.
A Funeral Mass was  celebrated on Thursday, February 25, at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Main St., Hoosick Falls with interment following at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends were invited to call at Robson-Reinfurt Funeral Home, 72  Main Street, from 10 to 11 am. Memorial contributions would be appreciated by the family to the EC Fund, 48 Center St., Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090 or to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad, through the funeral home.
