Shatford Little League Final Registration

February 26, 2010 By eastwickpress

Registration for the 2010 season of Shatford Little League has begun. You can now save time by registering online at our website, www.shatford.org.
Walk-up registration for the 2010 season will be held:
• Tuesday, March 2, from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Berlin Elementary School and the Walter B. Howard Elementary School.
• Saturday, March 6, from 10 am to noon at the Shatford Little League snack bar.
Children ages 5 to 14 who live within the Shatford Little League boundaries (northeastern Columbia and southeastern Rensselaer counties of New York) are eligible to enroll to play Shatford Little League Baseball.  Registration is still required even if the child has played in previous seasons.
We will be offering a new age division this year for 13 – 14 year olds, which will begin after school sports have ended in May.
At least one parent or legal guardian must be present at registration with proof of residence and an original or state-certified copy of the child’s birth certificate. The documents will be reviewed and returned at the time of registration. For more information, including a description of the boundaries and fees, visit our website at www.shatford.org or call Joe Shupe, 518-658-9321, or Mark Van Zandt, 518-794-9055.
Shatford Little League is an all-volunteer organization, and needs help in all areas.  If you are interested in volunteering, please attend our next meeting on Wednesday, March 3, at 7 pm at the New Lebanon Fire House.
