submitted by Marilyn Douglas
St. Mary’s Academy planned many events to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The kick-off celebration was the well attended Spaghetti Dinner and Talent Show on Saturday, January 30. On February 3, the public was invited to the Learning Fair and Open House running from 6  to 7:30 pm. The reading train was on February 4 from 1 to 2:30  pm.  The first guest reader was County Legislator Peter Grimm, who attended St. Mary’s Academy.  Friday, February 5, is Spirit Day with a pep rally and basketball game starting at 1:45 pm.
Whether your child is in pre-k or eighth grade at St. Mary’s, you can be sure that their Catholic school education will reap dividends for life.
