Arthur R. Nash Sr.

Petersburgh – Arthur R. Nash Sr., 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at his residence on State Route 22 in Petersburgh, NY. He resided there with his wife Donna (Godfrey) Nash.
Born on February 9, 1953, in Bennington, VT, Arthur was the son of the late Arthur R. and Florence (Sicinski) Nash. He graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School in the class of 1971. Arthur was employed at Evonik in Waterford, NY, as a warehouse supervisor. He was an avid NY Giants and Yankee fan. He also enjoyed hunting, riding ATVs and time spent with family and friends.
Survivors other than his wife, Donna, include two sons, Arthur Nash and William Nash, both of Hoosick Falls, NY, a sister, Patricia Corriveau of South Carolina, a grandson, Alan Nash, three nieces, Lorie Godfrey-Postell, Heidi Granger and Diane Gagnon, and a nephew, Robert Gagnon. He is pre-deceased by a sister, Susan Miller.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 12, at 3 pm at the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, on Friday from 12 to 2:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Immaculate Conception Church or the Petersburgh Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
