The Lebanon Valley Historical Society and the Lebanon Valley Protective Association will present a history of the LVPA on Monday, March 15, at 7 pm at the LVPA Firehouse, Route 20, New Lebanon. The speakers will be Mary Young and Robert Waters.
Ninety years of LVPA fire fighting will be seen through displays, pictures and videos. Hear the story behind the inception, the chiefs who have led the company and the people who give their time and talent to protect the town from the devastation of fire.
The LVPA was formed to protect the people of the Town of New Lebanon and their property in 1920. How has fire fighting changed over 90 years, and how does the Emergency Medical Services team fit into the company’s history of caring for the people of the Lebanon Valley.
Join us for a fun-filled evening where fire is more than just for toasting marshmallows.
