Little Hoosic Watershed Association Annual Meeting

March 12, 2010 By eastwickpress

The Little Hoosic Watershed Association  annual meeting will be held on Monday, March 22, at 7 pm at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Hall. The public is welcome. Agenda items include a review of work completed in 2009, the election of the Board of Directors and an update on projects planned for 2010.
The Association wants to learn about your concerns. The changing course of the river can result in loss of land and can impact roads and bridges.  Downed trees in the river can lead to bank erosion and can block the flow of water during storms.  At the meeting a large-scale map of the river will be posted. We invite you to come to the meeting and record your locations of concern right on the map.  This information is of critical importance to present the needs of the watershed to state and federal officials for future grant funding and permit applications.
