The North Petersburgh bald eagles are back. Neighbors say the female has stayed in the area through the fall and winter. The male has been back and forth to the area since Christmas time. A week ago it appeared he has returned for the season. Last year the pair spent a considerable amount of time building their nest. It is hoped this year they will focus on raising some young eagles. On Wednesday the nest was quite visible from Route 22 as there are no leaves on the trees. Once the leaves are full out, the nest will be barely visible from the road.
