Betty Lee Greene

Hoosick – Betty Lee (O’Brien) Greene, 84, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, VT. She had resided in Poultney, VT, and was the wife of the late Clifford Greene.
Born on April 17, 1926, in White Creek, NY, Betty was the daughter of the late John and Isabell (Gibbs) O’Brien. She and her husband operated the Clifford Greene Farm in Poultney for many years. Betty loved animals and her farm pets.
Survivors include her sister, Mildred “Dorte” Roberson of Eagle Bridge, NY, and many nieces and nephews. Betty is pre-deceased by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 1, at 12 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 am until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
