Brian E. Nopper

Hoosick Falls – Brian E. Nopper, 25, was called home unexpectedly on April 16, 2010. He had resided on Kokley Avenue in Hoosick Falls, NY, with his parents Jess E. and Diane (Tarjick) Nopper.
Brian was born October 11, 1984, in Bennington, VT. He graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School where he played football and baseball. Brian received a B.A. in music and psychology from SUNY at Plattsburgh. He was presently employed as a counselor at the Bennington School, where he also played rugby. Brian enjoyed writing music, playing guitar and piano, golfing and fishing.
Survivors, other than his parents, include three brothers, James E. Nopper and his wife Shannon of Colorado Springs, CO, Michael H. Nopper and his wife Tammy of Lenox, MA, and Matthew P. Tarjick and his wife Angela of Edgewater, MD. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Collette Hoag, godparents, Warren and Francis Church of New Lebanon, NY, longtime friend, John Paris of Hinsdale, MA, four nieces and one nephew as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, April 21, at 10 am from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Relatives and friends called at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the H.F.C.S. Music Department through the funeral home.
