Full Moon Hike At Dyken Pond

Take a twilight full moon walk and experience the sounds sensation of early spring at the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center on Wednesday evening, April 28, from 7 to 9 pm. During twilight we will walk to Dustin Swamp to listen for spring peepers (frogs) and barred owls. As dark descends, we’ll watch the full moon rise over the lake. This program is free and is an easy paced hike of about 1½ miles. Experienced guides will show you how to hike without a flashlight, using night vision to guide your way.
