Memorial Day is a special day of remembrance for all Americans and, particularly, the courageous men and women of our Armed Forces.
With American troops fighting for our freedom abroad and the memories of September 11 vivid in our minds, this Memorial Day assumes greater meaning. The tragic events of that day and the senseless loss of life should further remind our nation of the debt of gratitude owed to all those who have served our Country with honor.
The Memorial Day parade in the Village of Hoosick Falls will be on Monday, May 31, sponsored by Hoosick Post #40 American Legion. Further information will follow at a later date, or you may contact Don Bogardus, Parade Chairman, at 686-5993 or 686-7407.
