The Columbia Land Conservancy (CLC) presents Owls: Silent Predators of the Night on Thursday, April 8, from 2 to 3:30 pm at the New Lebanon Library. The program is geared to school age children.
The hoots and screeching calls of an owl at night can seem mysterious, even spooky. And the silent, shadowy passing of an owl in fight has startled even the bravest of people. This program investigates the incredible adaptations owls have in order to survive and thrive in a world of darkness. It also delves into what and how owls eat and examines the contents of an owl pellet. This program is not for the squeamish and not appropriate for children under 6 years of age.
To register, please contact Jeanne Bogino at 518-794-8844 by April 7.
