Phyllis Crandall

Stillwater – Phyllis Crandall, 65, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at her residence on Russell Drive in Stillwater, NY. She was the wife of the late Oscar Crandall, who died in 2000.
Born on April 14, 1944, in Smyrna, NY, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Dennis and Edna (Roberts) Healey. She attended school in Smyrna. Phyllis was formerly employed at the Holiday Inn in Troy, NY, and Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT, in the housekeeping department.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Michaels and Peggy Williams, six sons, Andrew, Joseph, Oscar, Terry, Jerry and Thomas and wife Connie, sisters, Diane and husband Bob, NY, Carol and husband Bruce, NY, Nancy and husband Ron, TN, and Martha and husband Don, NY, and brothers, Tom and wife Evelyn, NY, Ed and wife Carole, NY, and Jim and wife Nancy, PA. She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by a daughter, Kathy Crandall, who died in 1994.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 7, at 1 pm at the Berlin Community Cemetery, Berlin, NY. There were no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the John A. Hearn Stillwater Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
