There will be a poetry reading and writing workshop by J. Daniel Beaudry on Sunday, April 18, at 3 pm at the North Chatham Free Library.
In honor of National Poetry Month, under the Literature and the Arts Series, the North Chatham Library will be showcasing poet J. Daniel Beaudry reading his own and some favorite poems that have influenced him. His poetry is influenced by his studies of medieval literature, ecopoetics and Buddhism.
Following the reading, Beaudry will lead a poetry writing workshop. He is currently a lecturer at the College of St. Rose. Come listen to some wonderful poems and sharpen your skills at writing your own with this talented and experienced poet.
