Ronald Alan Marbot

Johnsonville – Ronald Alan Marbot, 42, and his infant son, Ronald Alexander Marbot, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, in the Town of Pittstown, NY. He was a lifelong resident of Johnsonville, NY. He was the son of the late Frank Marbot and Patricia (Loker) Marbot of Johnsonville.
Ronald was born on July 13, 1967, in Bennington, VT. He graduated from Hoosac Valley Central School and was employed by WB Roofing & Sheet Metal in Schenectady, NY. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horses. His pride and joy was his infant son Ronald.
Survivors, other than his mother Patricia, include a sister, Christina Lamb and husband Terry of West Hoosick, NY, three brothers, Francis Marbot and wife Tammy of Valley Falls, NY, Timothy Marbot and wife Kathryn of South West Hoosick, NY, and Kenneth Marbot and wife Wendy of West Hoosick, aunts and uncles, John Marbot, Mary Gronning, Eugene Loker and Joyce Ann Pacyga, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ronald is pre-deceased by a niece, Laura Mae Marbot, grandparents, Alexander and Catherine Marbot and Earl and Victoria Loker.
Funeral services were Monday, April 26, at 12 pm from St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends called at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, on Sunday from 1 to 5 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Ed Carknard Youth Trust Fund or the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
