The community is invited to attend an important Town Hall meeting hosted by the Hoosick Area Youth Center & Community Coalition. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 28, at 6 pm at the Youth Center, 115 Church Street in Hoosick Falls, the event will focus on adolescent substance abuse and social host legislation.
In addition to students representing grades 8-12 at Hoosick Falls Central School, presenters include County Executive Kathy Jimino, Assemblyman Tony Jordan, Town Supervisor Keith Cipperly, Village Mayor Matt Monahan, School Superintendent Ken Facin, School Substance Abuse Counselor Mary Ann Strauss and representatives from the law enforcement and healthcare arenas.
The entire community is welcome to be part of this interactive event. Refreshments will be served. Please call the Youth Center, 518-686-9050, if you need additional information.
